Dr. Ash Rofail

- President

Prior to founding Santéon, Ash served as Chief Technology Officer for User Technology Associates, a $100 M software consultancy with over 1000 employees. Ash was responsible for setting technology strategy and technical leadership. Ash has provided strategic technical vision for several successful and innovative products as Chief Architect for Best Software (acquired by Sage), Product Architect for Solomon/Great Plains (acquired by Microsoft), and State of the Art Software (acquired by Sage). Ash is a thought leader in enterprise software as a member of Microsoft's Visual Basic advisory board since 1997; patent holder for artificial intelligence technology; author of 6 software engineering books on topics such as XML, .NET, COM/DCOM, building n-Tier Applications and Service Oriented Architectures; and Adjunct Professor at the Johns Hopkins University School of Business. Ash holds a PhD Artificial Intelligence and MS Computer Science. Ash provides the strategic vision for Santéon.

Dave Charlton

- Chief Technology Officer

Dave has over fifteen years of experience in leadership positions with established public companies and startups. Prior to joining Santéon, Dave was Vice President of Product Development at InforMax, a global leader in commercial bioinformatics software. There, Dave was responsible for a multimillion dollar budget and all aspects of product development for the company's award-winning line of desktop and enterprise software for biomolecular analysis. Previously, Dave was the COO and Vice President of Online Strategy for AllHerb.com, the top online retailer in its category. Dave led the effort to build the company from conception, including technological infrastructure, business process design, facilities planning, and team building. Dave was the Vice President of Technology for All Things Delivered, Inc. from 1996 to 1998, where he was responsible for creating and managing the technological infrastructure of Washington DC's first Internet-based grocery shopping and home delivery service. From 1989 to 1996, Dave held various senior level roles at Intactix International (formerly MarketWare Corporation). As the Director of Product Development at MarketWare, Dave was responsible for all aspects of software development for the firm's market-leading retail space management products. At Santéon, Dave heads up all technical and project aspects of the company and is a key executive in executing the company vision and setting its direction. Dave attended Yale University where he studied Mechanical Engineering.

Joseph Frye

- Chief Financial Officer

For over 20 years, Joe has been an early stage venture capital investor in the USA and Europe, and for the past 8 years, the COO or CFO of several software technology companies. Joe set up the worldwide sales and support operations for a company selling VBA for Microsoft. In addition, he was CFO of a leading sales automation software vendor in the hospitality industry. Joe brings extensive experience in strategic financial leadership and management in the information technology sector. At Santéon, Joe oversees corporate finances, investor relations, and contract negotiations, as well as advising on operational matters.

Sherine Louis

- Director of International Relations

Formerly a Department of the Navy Human Resources Assistant and Management Consultant in the private sector, Sherine brings over 15 years experience in manpower management, leadership training, reorganization and efficiency review. Sherine's background includes extensive capability providing U.S. Government training in manpower analysis, organization efficiency and team building skills. As a recognized expert in global aspects of business, operations, and human resources, Sherine has gained recognition as an experienced trainer in the human resource areas of cost savings, organizational restructuring, and performance evaluation. Sherine directs Santéon's international relations, including strategic partnerships and overseas sales.

Mouneer Rabie

- Director of Development

After careers as a pharmacist and in the military, Mouneer went back to school for a degree in Computer Science with a desire to combine his medical background with solid IT experience to have an active role in the field of healthcare IT and medical informatics. After developing search and retrieval solutions for government and private customers, Mouneer joined Santéon where he manages the development and delivery of products and solutions for multiple government and private sector organizations, primarily in the area of Healthcare for HIPAA. Mouneer leads the development team including oversight of the entire development life-cycle and coordination of work for multiple teams to deliver high quality solution implementations for Santéon's diverse customers, to include OEM solutions for independent software vendors. Interacting with customers in the development and delivery of solutions, Mouneer abstracts an understanding of direct customer needs that he brings back to the development cycle to continually add new customer-focused functionality. Mouneer is an adjunct professor, teaching several courses in programming.
